BIO-INSPIRATION - GDR 2088 BIOMIM

GDR 2088  BIOMIM was established by the Institute of Chemistry of CNRS in January 2020 to unite all French actors working in the field of  Bioinspiration and Biomimicry. It brings together 91 research teams and laboratories with more than 600+ researchers and doctoral students, from all over France and with different scientific backgrounds and specializations to address important scientific and societal challenges through solutions inspired by nature.

The first meeting of this large research group is a two-day event that aims to discuss the latest developments and researches of GDR 2088 members who are working on topics that seek to resolve scientific and societal and regional challenges that are related to Biomimicry and Bioinspiration. Permanent researchers, postdocs, and PhD students are invited to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation.  There will also be plenary sessions and executive meetings during the event
